The Sutton Courtenay Village Post office within the Costcutters Store on Bradstocks Way closed for business on Saturday 23rd July 2011.
A Post Office Ltd spokesman, said: “Following the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use the Sutton Courtenay branch has had to regrettably close immediately”.
For people living in the Village of Sutton Courtenay needing the Post office service, the nearest local one is now on the High Street in the Village of Milton, approximately 1½ miles away from the previous one located at Costcutters Store in Sutton Courtenay.
A spokesman for the Post Office said, “We apologise to customers for the inconvenience this closure may cause.”
