We had two trips in June. On the 9th several members went to the Watermill Theatre near Newbury to see a play. There were mixed reactions to this play, but we all agreed it was excellent acting and a good story line.
On the 14th quite a large group of us went to Upton House, near Banbury and had a really lovely day. Well worth a visit. Also we were very fortunate to have a lovely summer day.
We are all now looking forward to our Garden Party on the 12th July to be held in our President’s garden at 31 Harwell Road. We hope we will be fortunate again in having a nice sunny day.
Our Meetings are usually held in the Village Hall once a month on the second Tuesday at 2.00pm and visitors are always very welcome.
